Why don't we talk about women supporting women?

 We are better united.

This year on women's day I sent out all the amazing women I know a message which read, "May we grow together or apart and celebrate each others' success. Happy women's day!"  

My entire high-school there was a lot of drama. Somehow boys never had any drama. I have seen girls trying to pull down other girls. They are so jealous of each other, don't trust me? 

Take a look at this meme, there is some reality to it, right? This is just an example which is exaggerated but the truth remains how women are the ones weighing other women down mostly because of jealousy,

You know conditioning plays a huge part too. We are conditioned in a way where we are intimidated by someone who is different. Only a few would not be insecure and let a person be different. So many years of fitting in the norms of society, a woman little different scares the society. 

We all blame men for not supporting women, between you and me, how supportive are women towards each other? Why has it become so normal to bring a woman down than to rise to her standards? 

Stop blaming men for everything and support a fellow woman, even though you don't like her. It shall not be anything extra ordinary but sometimes a girl asking "are you fine?" to another is also being supportive. 

Only when we take a stand for right, it will change. Let us just be happy for each other. Don't bring her down, lift her up! We are better united.

The Truth!

 Really, what is it?

Is it a sunrise or a sunset?

Isn't this a common picture? So common yet, you are unsure whether it is a sunset or a sunrise. Let us say, even when we pick a side, the probability of being right is fifty percent. 

Now think about all the times we have argued knowing only fifty percent or less truth. Humans tend to have biases, it is natural. But when we use our assumptions to form prejudice, it gets risky.

So what happens? Being the generation who has internet access at tip of the finger and technology under feet, it takes us no time to share these biased opinions on social media. 

When these biased opinions instead of truth make way to different platforms, it creates a panic. Which is used against us by people who are smart. They are smart to ignite the fire and wear fire resistant bodysuits. On the other hand we are the people who are targeted and we are the ones exploited. 

So, shall we not share or express our opinions? We have the right to express ourselves I know. Right and duty are two sides of a coin. It is our duty to verify the news before making a statement, taking a stand, having prejudices and most importantly reacting to it. 

Believe it or not everyone of us has influence may it be on a four year old kid or forty year old adult. Let us use the accessibility of internet to find the truth and make everyone around us aware. let us try?
