When did we turn from kids to adults?
Honestly, I didn't mind being a kid. Now we read quotes "Never look back in your life" but how we all loved to sit backwards on a scooter and see the other vehicles go by, that excitement!
We knew it better then that tears and smiles are to be seen and not hidden. Without having any second thoughts we would tell our families and friends every detail of our day.
Today I have my own vehicle but my favorite memory has to be when all four of my family members would sit on the Bajaj Classic scooter and roam around the town. Oh boy! and how we all would share a bedroom and fit on one double bed.
I loved Sundays too. Watching DDLJ, K3G, Hum Aapke Hai Kaun on TV with Aai, Pappa and Didi was way better than binge watching random web series and movies on phones that too alone. You know even POGO was better than Disney.
This Children's Day I feel like an adult and no more a child. When did this transition happen? I don't know! But I do know we all have to grow up that doesn't mean sharing your chocolates with kids tho!
True... I can totally relate to whole family roaming around the city (in my case, on hero's splender) to visit Maqbara or Panchakki. As a kid, I was a fearless boy...now as adult so caught. Still, nicely written...!!
